Finally a post!

I'll bet you are wondering what has happended to my blogging? I'm SO BUSY I can't stand it! It seems like everything needs to be done NOW!! On top of moving I have been so busy at work that I can't see straight! I see a little light now! Thank goodness! I'm stillpacking it up. Hoping to finish any scrapbooking this weekend that needs to be done and it's been helping me unwind. I actually have a couple of projects to share with you today. The first project is for Sketchabilites! Really love Karan's sketches they are beautiful and your projects always turn out lovely!!

I used Bo Bunny's Enchanted Collection for this card and used an aqua pen with a chalk ink for the pops of red.

So I have a few photos of my new house to share...it's coming along and we are 3 weeks out from moving day!! Yay!!

We chose to stain all the wood throughout the house and I really love it!

The plumbing is going in today and all the counter tops are in. I have brushed bronze fixtures going in throughout the house and I have this gorgeous granite composite sink in my kitchen. the shower and master bath are amazing!! I love all my big walk in closets too!!

This is the deck/shed combination that my husband designed. It's one of the last items to be finished up on the outside besides the sprinkler system and sod.

The carpeting and wood flooring go in next week and I should have more photos! We are almost tothe end now and just can't wait until it's over!!

30 Days and Counting!

We are 30 days from our big move and I'm getting extremely anxious!! Our house is almost complete, the work on the inside is coming along quickly! Last night Iwas able to check out all the tile work and I'm so happy with it! There's not much left to do. So while I'm busy packing up my house, last weekend I was packing up a little more in my scraproom and came across some KandCo. that has been in my stash. So the packing stopped and I had to do a layout! I couldn't help myself!! Here's my finished project!

Sorry about the photo, we have had alot of wind and just enough snow to make it miserable to get out and take photos. Anyway this one isn't my best photo. Lately I find myself in a Turquoise sort of mood!! It's one of my favorite colors and I've been finding myself gravititing towards it. Fair warning!

So CHA is this upcoming week and I will not be going. My first experience started out great but in the end it was not worth 7 days of my hard earned vacation time and money. The problem was that I had a room mate that made things very miserable for not only me, but a few others as well. I'm not one to invest time in self serving people and basically the consideration for the rest of us went down the drain. Will I ever go back? Probably but I will have my own room or a room mate that is more considerate. We'll see, she kind of ruined the whole trip for a few of us. Don't get me wrong, I did have some great times too and met alot of great people. I enjoyed all the inspiring projects and booths.

Anyway, hope everyone that is going has a safe trip and lots of fun!!

If you haven't seen these yet you will fall in love with this collection. Bo Bunny's Double Dot Cardstock is so awesome. If you don't want to use the side with dots you can flip it over for the solid side that looks like suede to me. This new collectionof Double Dot gives you a vnitage feel that I LOVE!!

Bo Bunny's new Ambrosia Collection

So this has to be one of my favorite paper lines ever!! It's so bright and gorgeous and incorporates so many beautiful colors!! I can't wait to get this one in my hands..I've already got the photos out that I want to scrap! So we'll start out with the gorgeous paper collection! Bo Bunny's designers rocked this collection!!!

I know I know!! So gorgeous!!!! Now moving on to the embellishments which are just as gorgeous!!!

Feels like Heaven!!

So I actually sat down and scrapped this weekend...amazing since I really amstrapped to get my house packed up! We are moving in about 5 weeks!!! I have so much to do, but as I was packingup my scraproom I found some fun paper I forgot I had, along with some lovely coordinating embellishments! So I had to play!

I'm so honored to have been asked to guest design for Color Creations this week.

Valentines Day Table Decor

How many of you decorate for every holiday? I'm one of those people who have to have some kind of decoration for every fun celebration. I have something a little different to share with you. Today I'm sharing a beautiful centerpiece that I made with a vase, jar candle, candy corn , ribbon, flowers and of course a couple of my favorite Therm O Web products!! This is an inexpensive and easy way to make your table look pretty!! I used Zots to adhere the flowers to the ribbon and Zips to adhere the ribbon to the candle jar.

This project can be changed throughout the year. All you have to do is add a different candle, candy, and ribbon. For example, Easter is around the corner and you could use a yellow candle, jelly beans and yellow ribbons and flowers.

Holiday Hangover!!

Not the drinking kind but the kind that tells me it's time to quit stressing and to relax. The holidays are so busy, as if normal everyday life isn't busy enough!! Well, today I'm still cooking! We are celebrating today with my husbands daughters. On the grill is a brisket smoking and we'll have a good old fashioned BBQ today! I've been cooking for three days!!! Next year I have vowed to not go overboard!

It's almost Christmas!

Hope you are enjoying your holiday season! My shopping is done and we are just waiting on the big day! Time with family and a relaxing time for celebrating. We are hoping for a White Christmas which sounds like it may happen, we'll see. Today I'm sharing a couple of layouts I did a while back with Bo Bunny products. The first layout I have is one of my son and his family at a family dinner they had while visiting Salt Lake a couple years ago. I used the Welcome Home Collection along with the Et Cetera collection. The flowers are all handmade.

This next layout has to be oneof my all time favorites because of the colors of the product. I had this photo that I have been waiting to scrap for a couple of years now and it was perfect for Bo Bunny's Snowfall collection.

Bo Bunny Card Challenge Tuesday!!

Today is card Challenge Tuesday on the Bo Bunny Blog so be sure to check out the sketch and get your card entered for a wonderful prize! Here's the card I made for the challenge. I used the Smoochable Collection for this card. This collection is too darned cute!!

I have another project to share with you that I created with the Bo Bunny Enchanted Collection. I've made several of these Pomanders now and they make such a beautiful decoration/gift. They are a little time consuming but they are worth it!!

I'm looking forward to the new year and to some new beginnings. Our house is going up quickly and we are getting very excited to get moved.
Here is a photo I took a few days ago, since then, the siding has all gone up and the roof is going on as we speak. The electricity is being run today and the insulation will go in next week sometime. We are getting closer!!

Well. I'll keep you updated with a few more projects this week and maybe a few more updates on the house!!

Baby it's COLD outside!!

Well, we are sitting at a whopping -2 degrees today!! It's a tropical heat wave!! While one of my sister's is in Hawaii basking in tropical glory I sit in Wyoming freezing in a Winter Wonderland!!

It does make for great scrapping weather and I get to wear my new winter boots and my cozy sweaters. So I got lots of scrapping in over the weekend, some fun stuff with Spellbinders dies. My collection is growing and I especially love their flower dies!! So here is what I made with a little Pink Paisley and one of my favorite dies by Spellbinders and Donna Salazar's Rose Creations

So I'd love to share everything else I made but...it will be a few days. Hope you're staying warm!!

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!! This is going to be a quick post today as I have tons to do!! I wanted to share a couple of Bo Bunny layouts that I recently completed for challenges on the Bo Bunny Blog. The first layout is a recipe challenge that several of us played along with. I used the new Enchanted collection for this one! Chesk out the Bo Bunny Blog for details...you could win a great Bo Bunny prize!!This collection is so gorgeous...glittery and fun!!

This next challenge is one I issued and it was a difficult challange. I have always wanted to document my professional life...I spend alot of time working! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and Black Friday!! (I don't do Black Friday...EVER!!) I'm not a big shopper and this doesn't even sound fun to me at all. Unique ways to say "Thank You"

As Veterans Day and Thanksgiving Day approaches us, the time is appropriate for everyone to stop and reflect our gratitude for all of our everyday blessings. Living in a military town I see soldiers everywhere I go. These Americans are so deserving of a "Thank You" from so many and sometimes they need to be told. Today I'm sharing a project with you that I made for one of my Bo Bunny challenges. The challenge is a unique way to say "Thank You". Here is what I came up with.

To make this banner I used Bo Bunny's Gabrielle and Welcome Home Collections and then embellished it with butterflies and flowers. This banner is held together with ribbon and Therm O Web Foam Squares, Lots of Zots and the fabulous Tape Runner XL!!!

I've been in this mood lately to alter projects and banners are so fun! I have several more projects to share with you soon!

The weekend is almost here!!

I am so ready! Do you have any fun plans? My plans consist of scrapping, scrapping and more scrapping!! I have been spending alot of my weekends in my scraproom packing it up and working on a baby album. This weekend is totally dedicated to design team work. I have been in the mood lately for creating altered projects and this weekend plan on working on some layouts. Every now and then I have to shake it up a bit.

This week Bo Bunny teamed up with Scor-Pal (they were generous enough to send us a Scor-Buddy) and I had so much fun creating with it! I made this cute welcome sign that will be hanging on my frond door of my new house. I mixed up a few collections for this wall hanging. I used Forever Fall and Garden Girl.

I made this card with the new Smoochable Collection and a little Vickie B.

Happy Friday and a Tutorial

So glad it's Friday...it's been a really long week! I woke up yesterday thinking it was Friday and today Iwoke up thinking it was Saturday. I've been ready for the weekend for 2 days!! Anyway, hope you have great plans for the weekend. For me it's packing up some more of my house and scrapping on Sunday.

I have a fun tutorial for you today. I did this layout for the Therm O Web blog using my favorite sticky products!! So if you know me at all, you know I love making my own embellishments. Today I'm going to show you how to make Lollies using some of my favorite Therm O Web products and some fun Picadilly by Basic Gray.

Here's what you will need to create this Lollie.

Trimmer
Therm O Web Super Tape 1/4 inch
Therm O Web Zots or my favorite... Lot's O Zots in medium size
border punch - your choice
Scoreboard of choice
Patterned Paper - I used Picadilly by Basic Gray.
Ink - optional
Scissors
I also used Therm O Web Tape Runner XL to adhere the whole layout together.
Cut 3 - 6"x 2" strips of patterned paper.

Punch one edge and ink if desired.

Score strips every 1/4 inch.

Fold all strips on score lines, accoridan style.

Adhere edges together with Therm O Web Super Tape.

You should have an element that looks like a cupcake wrapper.

Now flatten and adhere center with Medium Therm O Web Zot.

Embellish as desired. I used another smaller Lollie for this one.

I hope you give this a try..they are fun and easy to make and add dimension to any layout or card.

We had a blast of Winter this week and while I love snow it seems like the summer just flew by. I love living here in Wyoming because we have 4 seasons and I like the changes it brings. Today the trees are covered in glittery snow and it's so gorgeous!!! Although we didn't have a snow day, we woke up yesterday to 8" of the fluffy stuff. For me Winter means alot of scrapping, and is my favorite season to scrap. The projects I have to share with you today were so much fun to create and have really put me in the mood for scrapping.

This first project was based off of this sketch challenge for Challenge Friday on the Bo Bunny blog. If you'd like to play along here is the link. The sketch was provided by our lovely Gabrielle Pollaco.

I got this sweet photo of my littlest grand daughter Adalyn kissing grandpa. She climbed up in his lap and gave him a big smoocher! She is growing so fast and doing so many fun things right now. You'll be seeing lots more of her!

The Bo Bunny team was challenged to mix up some of our favorite Bo Bunny collections. I chose to mix up Father Christmas, Blitzen and Et Cetera. It's so fun to mix the lines up and I love the results!

Scrapping weather!

Well, the weather is feeling Fallish/Winterish today and for me that's when I love to scrap and play with paper. I spent most of the weekend packing up some of my scraproom and scrapping a bit too. I have some Bo Bunny projects to share today. I have been taking alot of photos of our youngest grand daughter Adalyn...she is growing like a weed! She is talking and learning to say new words so fast! One of her lastest things to say is SHHHH! It's so cute! I used Bo Bunny's new Sweet Tooth collection for this layout.

I did this next layout of her just because she was being cute and happy. I used Bo Bunny's Garden Girl Collection.

So I've been getting ready for Halloween. With most of my grandkids living away (they were supposed to move here and all that fell through.) I had to make sure I didn't forget them for Halloween. I created these cute little treat holders for them and filled them with trail mix and just a little candy, anyway I hope they enjoy them. I try to get a tutorial up sometime this week on how to create these...they are so simple and if you have any paper that you have had sitting around for a while and don't know what to do with it, this project is perfect. The make great classroom gifts too.

Fall Colors

Friday we went for a drive thru the Medicine Bow National Forest (Aspen Alley) it was perfect for the changing Aspens. We caught the changes at the perfect time, it's supposed to snow in the next couple of days so the leaves will fall fast and I'm so glad we ent when we did. I took a few hundred photos of the trees. We drove up to a beautiful place called Mirror Lake and got out and took photos and did a little exploring. The temps were in the 50's at 10,000 plus feet but it was gorgeous. Here's a few of the photos I took.

So as you can see it was a perfect day for a drive and to enjoy mother nature!

Kanban Crafts Team Call

Kanban is a manufacturer of premium card, stamping and scrapbooking products in the industry.

We have a talented team of designers and so we've decided to expand our existing team and add some additional team members. We are looking for US designers to expand our team. We are looking for Stampers, Card makers and Scrapbookers. This call is for a six month term from November 2011 –April 2012.

Here's how to be part of this team.
Deadline: October 12th
How to Apply

Please email us at wyscrapper@yahoo.com with the following information:
1. Contact information, including name, address, email and phone number.
2. Link to your blog and/or online gallery. We'd also love to know if you are on Facebook and/or Twitter.
3. Send us samples of your work. Scan/photograph and send us one of each of the following: One Layout, Two Cards and a mini book OR home decor item. That's only three total looks, so be sure to send us your strongest creations!!
4. Have you been published? What other Design Teams are you part of and when does their term end?
5. Tell us about YOU....what you love about scrapbooking? Why do you want to be one of Kanban Crafts design team members?

Fall Decorations

I love Fall, the colors, the weather, the smells...everything about Fall is lovely! It's my favorite season! In Wyoming the trees are so beautiful right now! They are changing colors very fast and the leaves are beginning to fall. The earth tone colors of Fall are my favorites, in fact I decorate my home in rich fall colors because they are not trendy and they never out date themselves.

Bo Bunny just released a gorgeous Fall collection called Forever Fall and it reminds me of home because the colors are so earthy, just like my home. I want to share a fun project I made a while back with this gorgeous collection. I made it with wooden leaves, painted them gold with acrylic paint and then adhered paper to them with Modge Podge and embellished them. I adhered the wooden letters, assembled the paper flowers, butterflies, and flourishes with Therm O Web Zots. It's hanging on my wall as we speak.

My weekend will be full, packing up my house and scrapping and my morning walks with my camera. I'm going to try and talk my husband into a Fall drive (shouldn't be too tough) to check out the trees in Rocky Mountain National Forest and hopefully get some shots of the wild life moving around and some of the gorgeous colors I love so much!! They should be beautiful right now.

In a Vintage Mood!

Here in Wyoming we are feeling the Fall weather...gorgeous days, cool mornings and evenings. It's my favorite time of year. I love the earthy colors and the smells of Fall. The trees are showing some yellow colors and the bees and butterflies are working the flowers. The park is loaded with beautiful sunflowers, which happens to be my favorite flower! I took these photos a few days ago. I couldn't help myself. Sunflowers always put me in a vintage mood!

I picked this bouquet from my country girlfriends pasture...isn't it gorgeous!

It will be sad to see the summer weather go, but I welcome Fall and love living in the High Plains where we have 4 seasons. Change is good and it gives you something to look forward to. I love the different seasons for what they have to offer. Spring is for renewal, Summer for pure enjoyment, birds, flowers and sunshine, long days and hot temperatures, Winter for cuddling and staying in your pajamas all day, comfort food, long days in my scraproom and football! Fall for all the colors and Football!

I will be in my scrap room this weekend packing up some stuff and scrapping. I will be breaking out the lace and white paint this weekend!

I'll leave you with a summer layout I made with Bo Bunny Barefoot and Bliss collection. This is a 2 pager which I rearely do but I had some great photos of my littlest grand daughter Adalyn and I wanted to scrap them all. She loves the water and will gladly jump in anytime!

Halloween Decorations

Halloween is such a fun time for decorating...I love the colors and glitteryness of the decor! I found this cute little witches hat in one of the craft stores a couple of weeks ago and couldn't resisit! I'll be using it for some of my centerpiece table decor next month.

I used Best Creations Glitter Cardstock and the Hauted House Collection to make this cute little hat. To adhere it to the paper mache hat I used Therm O Web Sticky Lines, medium Zots and PeelnStick! I can guarantee this hat will not come unglued!!

I'll be working on the rest of the table decor this week so this is ready for October 1st. Be sure to check back for the finished product!

I have a bunch to share with you today. I'm going to start off with some Basic Gray layouts I did a couple weeks ago. I have such a huge stash of BG that I don't even know where to begin! I refuse to give it all away because I love it all so much! And of course all of these prjects were created with Therm O Web adhesives Zots, Foam Squares, the fabulous Tape Runner XL !!!Anyway here is what I did with some of my stash.

The next project I made for my kitchen. My recipe box is full and I need to make another one that is much larger. I love recipes and cookbooks!

This next layout I created with Bo Bunny's Gabrielle Collection....I have used almost this whole collection up! It's so vintage and I love all the colors and butterflies! One of my assignments this month was to focus on the trinkets so I used all the beautiful metal butterflies on this layout.

Best Creations released a bunch of cute papers and embellies this summer. Here's a welcome sign I made with this cute glittery Forever Fall collection.

You're probably wondering if I was ever going to post again! Well here I am, back from my last summer vacation. I have been having lots of fun and managed to get a little scrapping in too. We have been busy getting our house spruced up for sale and working on getting our new house designed. All very time consuming! I have been fortunate enough to be asked to Guest Design for My Creative Scrapbook, one of my favorite kit clubs! Pam Rangle is the owner and designer of the kits. Theye are all fabulous! If you are arriving here from the fabulous Moniques blog, you are in the right place!!! One of my favorite scrapping techniques is stitching. My go to stitching technique involves my sewing machine. It gives me a chance to play and I love the way the zig zag stitch looks on layouts and cards.

The close up shows the stiching that I used for this layout. I used Best Creations Graduation Collection for this project. The photo is of Abby who graduated 2 years ago now. Needless to say she was ecstatic!!

I wanted to share another project with you that is school themed. I created with Best Creations new release Back To School. This collection is perfect for decorations and altering your favorite school supplies.

The weekend sure flew by! I was so busy at home that I blinked and the weekend was over! Life seems so fast anymore. I spent some time in my scraproom this weekend playing with some fun projects! I used Bo Bunny's Whoo-ligans Collection and lots of Therm O Web on this cute Halloween layout! Halloween has to be one of my favorite times of the year to scrap...the colors are bright and the subject is fun!
This layout is of my sweet grandkids who were dressed up like candy for Trick or Treating.

I adhered all the googly eyes on this layout with Zots for Bling and of course used the Tape Runner XL to adhere everything else!

Missing in Action!

My life has been a whirlwind lately...something to do almost every minute!! I'm still getting my scrapping in so as long as that is happening I'm good to go! I thought it would calm down a bit after Frontier Days but it seems to be going at the same pace. This month on the Bo Bunny Blog we are spotlighting our design team....today is my turn, if you leave a comment you'll be signed up for a prize to be announced around the 31st of August. I want to share some of the new collections that Bo Bunny just released. They are fun and fabulous as always!!

This card is from the Home Sweet Home Collection...the blues and greens and romantic flourishes are so gorgeous on this line...it's a must have in you stash!!

How cute is this new Sweet Tooth Collection??? I love the colors and the patterns on this line are so cute! I have a couple more projects to share soon!

Forever Fall is such a colorful earthy collection! These bright golds, oranges, aquas and siennas have always been my favorite colors! They have a Tuscan feel and they make any layout pop!

This tray has been in my stash for quite awhile and when I saw the new Et Cetra collection I knew that I would finally be doing this project! I combined this line with the Timepiece collection to make this tray.

Back from my Staycation!!

It's always great to come back from your vacation to find this!! Yay!! Another term with Best Creation and some fabulous new and returning designers!! I'm looking forward to some new friendships and of course the fabulous friendships I've made already!! Stay tuned for some fun!

I'm always glad when Frontier Days gets here but I'm always glad to see it wind down too! 10 days of partying and celebrating can be hard on a gal! I have tons of photos to weed through! Kid Rock was amazing! What a great show! He is an amazing entertainer!

I did a few photo shoots over the week...I mentioned I have thousands, yes thousands of photos to go through. Her are a few of some great bull riders (my favorite event). Not sure how these guys get on these huge animals and try to ride them for a full 8 seconds! It's fun to watch!

I did get some scrapping done over the week...a little down time was so nice!

I did this layout for one of my Therm O Web assignments. I used lots of foam squares, Zots, and of course my tape runner to complete this layout. The paper and embellies are from the Ad Lib collection by Bo Bunny.

This layout was seen on the Bo Bunny Blog for Fast Friday. If you know me at all you know that I spend hours on a layout so this really was a challenge for me!! The photos are of my youngest grand daughter Adalyn. She turned a year old a couple of weeks ago...amazing how fast they grow!

I absolutely love this paper line. It's some of the new Authentique. This particular collection is called Blissful! Love the colors and the vintage feel! It's one of my favorite products released in the last year!!

A little Ruby Rocket for you! This fun paper is glittery and the matching butterfly embellies are so pretty! This has been in my stash for a bit now. Shelly of Punky Sprouts shared this with me.

New Flowersoft toppers. I know Christmas cards already!! It will be here before we know it. The patterned papers are Bo Bunny's Noel collection. I think I've just about used every scrap of this collection!!

Summer fun!

I tend to take my vacations in the summer when the weather is nice. I don't usually go far because I'm such a home body! This week I have been enjoying some time with my sisters and niece and taking in the Frontier Days festivities! Friday night we went to Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow....awesome concert! Kid Rock is a fabulous entertainer! I had so much fun!!

I've also been taking tons of photos!! I'll be sharing those soon!

I've been scrapping quite a bit. I have some fun American Crafts projects to share with you today. Loving the Margarita Collection and it happens to be my favorite cocktail too! The photo is from Beliz and it looks like a perfect place for a Margarita, don't you think so?! I used AC cardstock for the backgrounds of these projects.

Allthe bright colors in this collection is sure to cheer anybody up!!

This sweet little face is of my sweet grand daughter Adalyn. The layout features the Hello Sunshine Collection. The flowers are handmade from the paper.

I created this Pomander from die cut flowers and AC cardstock, yes it took and few!! I adhered the flowers to a styrofoam ball with Therm O Web Zots! They work perfect!

Well I'm just here to say hi today and now I'm back to my staycation! I have a photo shoot at the Rodeo today...looking for that amazing photo!!

After the storm

We're still cleaning up from last weeks storm that devastated our city. The heat showed up this week too! Not sure why people in Wyoming think that AC is not necessary. Our AC goes on in May and doesn't go off until October...that's 5 full months of AC. It's almost humourous to hear them justify the reasons behind no air. Yesterday and today the air has been out in our building at work and it's literally making me feel sick...headaches and dizziness. Can't wait to get home to the AC. If it's not fixed tomorrow I'll stay home in my nice cool house. It has to be at least 85 degrees in this building and I'm on the second floor. Everyone I work with comes to work to cool off and none of them sleep at night because it's too hot!!

Anyway...enough griping! Wanna see some projects I finished up??

Both of these are done with Bo Bunny Products and if you check out my Cookbooking blog you can see some new Best Creations projects.

This first layout was done with the Liberty Collection.

This next layout is for some Therm O Web design team work but I also used Bo Bunny Zoology Collection for the layout.

The adhesives I used were Zots (which I love) Foam squares and tape runner.

I really love these two collections!!

So CHA is in full swing and I'm sure everyoneis having a great time!! I'll be saving my money for January!!

Scary Storms!!

Yesterday proved to be an ugly weather day and is proof that there is no messing with Mother Nature! She was in a really bad mood yesterday and threw a huge temper tantrum all over our city. Of course I had my camera out for this.

Out my front door. You can see how hard it was raining and how the leaves were being ripped from the trees.

Beginning of the storm the hail was small but it ended up being bigger than golfballs.

This is my neighbors tree...you can't even see the grass!

My poor garden was shredded.

So this storm did alot of damage to our house...we are now in the process of getting the adjuster to give us a damage total. Our cars were under cover thank goodness!!

Well after all that I do have some layouts to share with you. These are both done with some of the newest Bo Bunny Collections. Both are beautiful collections! Get your hands on some if you haven't already!

Today is a special day for our family, actually this week is. It's a birthday week for several of our favorite kids!!

Back from vacation!

I'm back from my mini vacation! I had a great time. I went to Denver for a few days for some Rockies baseball. There is nothing like being in a fabulous ballpark with lots of sun and excitement all around! We saw the Rockies and the Chicago White Sox series. Jeff's second favorite team is the White Sox as he is from the Chicago area. We had a great time!

We celebrated the 4th at home with a BBQ and fireworks! Always fun! I finally got some great photos of the fireworks (one of the hardest things to photograph)! I'll share them soon.

I have a few Bo Bunny projects to share with you today. As well as some of the new releases...you will love them!!

I did a little something different with the Trinkets. Every now and then I get in the mood for beading. When I saw these Trinkets from Bo Bunny, I knew they were going to be new bracelets.

TGIF!!!

I'm in such a good mood today! Not because it's Friday but because I had such a great morning! If you don't know me, you probably don't know that I'm a total morning person. I like getting up at 5:00 am, going for a run and watching the sun come up. I didn't run this morning but I decided to leave early for work and stopped at the park and watched the sun come up and took some photos. Another one of my favorite things to do! Here's what I saw this morning on my litte adventure.

These Pelicans show up every summer and I've always wanted photos of them. This big guy was doing a little fishing on the lake this morning. He wasn't having much luck but he was gorgeous swimming around. When these guys decide to take off, it's amazing! Their wing spand is huge!

The sun coming up and the reflections of the trees on the lake were so pretty! I could have stayed there for another hour!

These 2 guys were on the lake at the golf course this morning. They weren't really enthused about having their photos taken. Kind of ruffled their feathers a bit.

And this big guy was trying to get to the water. This photo doesn't do his size justice. He was about 2 feet long.

Anyway...had fun playing with my camera and enjoying Mother Nature this morning.

The photo was taken at the Denver Zoo last year and even though this baby doesn't look like a baby, he was. Still being clumsy and silly.

Living in the USA

I love this country! Last night we came home from a game of Bike Polo in Colorado to the sound of Taps being played at the nearby military base. It was very humbling. They play Taps everyday when the sun goes down but it was very refreshing to me to hear it last night. Anyway, just made me think how I love living in this country.
If any of you are curious as to what Bike Polo is...here are a few photos. It's like hockey on bikes and my husband loves it!

I have a big announcement today. I will be joining the Therm O Web design team! If you know how many ZOTS I go through you would know why I'm so excited about this! Not to mention the fabulous designers and company I will be privelged to work with!!

I have something very cute to share today. Recently Punky Sprouts teamed up with Best Creations for some cute mini album projects. I was fortunate enough to get BC's princess papers and I used them on this cute little mini by Punky Sprouts.

So anyway, the photos are ove my sweet grand daughters Adria and Belle. They of course are like most little girls and love dressing up like Princesses. They are so fun and I love listening to them in their make believe world!!

Barefoot and Bliss!!

I wish the weather would cooperate here in the Rockies!! We have had a wet Spring! So when I say Barefoot and Bliss, I'm talking about one of the newest Bo Bunny releases. It is so beautiful that it makes you want to travel to a beach and sunbathe the day away! Here is my first layout I created with this collection.

I really love the new Collections by TaDa. Here is the layout I created using the TaDa Bountiful Blooms Collection and the Punky Sprouts Lil Blooms Canvas Fowers.

Would you like to learn how to make these flowers?? They are super simple! You will need a metro flower punch and some rosettes or bling for the center and scraps from the Bountiful Blooms Collection.

Punch 3 flowers for each layered flower.

Fold each petal in half and then layer and adhere at the center with Zots.

Add rosettes or bling to center. Adhere to your layout.

Here is a card I used these flowers on.

Well by now you have all seen the latest releases by Bo Bunny! Of course I love them...I love everything Bo Bunny does! I have been digging in to all the newest lines all week and just can't seem to get my mind off of them!! Here is a layout that I created with the new Zoology Collection. The photo is of my sweet grandkids at the Zoo. This tiger was just as interested in them as they were in him and seemed to be staring them down. Hope he wasn't thinking "lunch"!

I have one more to share with you too! I did this layout for the sketch challenge on the Bo Bunny Blog. It's created with the fun Ad Lib Collection! Love the bright colors in this collection! The photo is of my grand daughter Belle who decided she looked better with bright red lipstick!

Scroll Down for the Flower Soft Blog Hop

Can you believe it??? Well actually I can because I've seen it snow in Wyoming in June. But darn it...I was enjoying the 70's!!! At least it's good scrapping weather. I wanted to share a couple layouts I recently did for Best Creations. The first one I did with the new Gone Camping Collection and it was for Mother's Day.
Our assignment was to journal about Mothers Day. I really love the colors of this collection and it's verstile enough to make layouts that aren't camping related at all, as you can see.

In case you didn't know I have 2 step-daughters that I helped raise for the last 19 years. I basically started over because my son was already 17 when they came into my life. I didn't have any girls so I look at it as God's way of giving me 2! They are quite the pair...we are very different but I'm so glad I have them in my life.

And one more to share also from Best Creations.

Sunshine and warmth!! Finally!!

We are finally supposed to have a nice weekend, believe it or not we are still getting snow showers but worse than that is the wind. It's been hawking! 60 miles and hour at times!! Today we should see 65 and over the weekend 75 with little or no wind!!! Amazing! I'm ecstatic!! While the cooler weather makes for great scrapping time, it does not make it much fun to get outdoor exercise, which I'm craving right now.

I do have a couple of layouts to share today, I have ablsolutely been loving the new K and Company releases! They are so springy and vintagy! I think I bout 6 new lines and all the embellies!! Love them!!
Anyway here is one layout I did with the Watercolor Collection.

I hand made the Peony from some of the same paper line.

I have a couple more layouts to share with you. The following 2 layouts are created with products from Shawn Davis Designs Store. The flowers on these are Shawn's own handmade embellishments and make a super lovely embellies!! Be sure to check out her webite for more from the other designers.

Entries must be uploaded to the SCS gallery and use at least one Flower Soft product (Flower Soft, toppers, stamps) to be eligible to win. Please use the keyword FSC28 and flowersoft (one word) when uploading to the Splitcoast Gallery so we can find your project.
The prize this week – Winners choice – 4 colors of Flower Soft!

Here is what I did for this challenge. I used Kanban Cavendish Portraits - Mink Suede products for this challenge and then added Flower Soft Sprinkles to the fur on the cards. I had lots of fun with this one!!

I also made a couple more cards with my Kanban products. Love these cards, they are classy and the products are so easy to work with.

Fun Weekend!!

I had a great weekend! Lots of scrapping, chatting and fun! I hooked up with some fabulous ladies at the Archiver's in Denver. I bought some fun new releases and finished up lots of Kanban Crafts cards and layouts. I have tons to show you today! Let's get started!

Well Friday is finally here! It's been a looooong week! Lots of stuff going on and seems like I can't catch up. Looking forward to Saturday and some girlfriend/scrapping time with the girls in Denver. I'm headed to one of the Archivers there to scrap and chat. It's always fun! I'm determined to actually get some scrapping done! I'm going armed and loaded with Kanban Crafts products and will have tons to show you next week.

For now let me share a little Bo Bunny with you. This layout was made with the Vicki B. collection. If you are familiar with Bo Bunny you know that their collections come with lots of fun embellishments to choose from. For this layout the DT was challenged to feature the buttons that came with Vicki B. I really love this Collection...it's so perfect for the cute photos I have been taking of Adalyn. She is at a fun age and the colors reflect her little sweet personality.

Then some really exciting news is that if you enjoy craft classes and love Bo Bunny Gabrielle then the super talented Jessica Sprague and Heidi Swapp have put together a fabulous hybrid class for mothers day here using the stunning Gabrielle collection! This is a little sneak peek at the class and it looks amazing!

As I previously mentioned I would be playing with some Kanban Crafts this weekend, thought I'd share a couple of cards I made this week. Kanban products are so easy to work with and the quality is amazing!

Kanban Crafts is an established paper crafting company and is looking to add 5 designers to it's design team. We need card makers AND scrapbookers. Members of the Kanban Design Team will be compensated with wonderful products. This call is for 6 months from May 1, 2011 thru October 2011.

We are looking for designers:
That LOVE to make cards and scrapbook pages with high quality products.
That LOVE to stamp and would love to use Kanban Crafts Stamps on their projects.
Who are willing to promote Kanban Crafts whenever and where ever possible.
That will turn in their projects in a timely manner and will blog about them (must have a blog).
Team members will be responsible for: 4-8 card/scrapbook projects every month
Card makers would be responsible for 8 cards per month (2 cards per week).
Scrapbookers would be responsible for 4 layouts per month (1 layout per week)
Include directions, photos, and project sample when necessary.

fun with Best Creations and Spellbinders!

This month Best Creations teamed up with Spellbinders and I'm now addicted to Spellbinders! The Best Creations design team really did an amazing job with the dies and with the BC products. Here is the card I made with Best Creations Travel Forever collection and Spellbinders Classic Scallop die.

Best Creations just released several new collections one being a Graduation collection. You'll be seeing several projects from me with this line. It's so darned pretty! Here is the first project I'd like to share with you.

I have so many graduation photos that need to be scrapped so I'll be catching up this month with those!!

My Core'dinations Creative Frenzy!!!!

Yes, I'm applying for the Core'dinations design team call!!! Why you say? Because I happen to love their cardstock, you will see it on alot of my cards and layouts!! It's versatile and the texture is perfect for lots of different techniques, especially distressing and inking which if you know me I do alot of that!!

So here are a few projects I created using Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock.
First up a cute little card in a gift box.

I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch around the edges of the top of the box before folding it into a lid.

To create the box I simply used the Crafters Companion and followed the directions from the book.

I used a littl eBo Bunny on this layout of my sweet little grand daughter Adalyn. Love her little ears!!:)

I made these Easter Eggs by cutting lots of circles for these spiral rosettes and then adhereing them with a glue gun to styrofoam egg shapes. After adhering all the roses I dripped diamond glaze radomly on the eggs and then sprinkled them with Diamond dust. This will be one of my easter decorations that will sit on my counter for the rest of the month.

Well, I had a busy weekend scrapping!! I'll share some more over the week.

Some great news to share!

Over the last month or so My Creative Scrapbook has had their first ever Guest Designer Call. So if any of you know Pam you know that she has the most beautiful kits ever!! Anyway I'm so happy to share with you that I will guest designing for My Creative Scrapbook in the upcoming months!!! I simply can't wait!!!

With Friday here I'm looking forward to the weekend in my scraproom. The weather isn't nice enough to be outside, we are expecting rain/snow over the next couple of days so I will be scrapping!! I do have a project to share with you today. This project was done completly with Bo Bunny's Double Dot their newest Dot Papers and a little Vicki B. You can do so much with these Double Dot and Dot papers!! Hope you'll give them a try!!

This week I began my last photography classes. These classes are all about lighting and flash, something I knew nothing about. I have already learned that my shopping list for equipment just got longer!!! I also learned how to use and umbrella to deflect light and get softer images. Looking forward to learning more and putting the knowledge into action. Hoping to get out and play with my camera a little this weekend!

Now for a couple new birthday cards from Kanban Crafts! These turned out so cute...I would love to receive one of these in the mail! I made these from the Blooming Bathtub Collection and the Fairy Sentiments Collection. Love the dimension on these! These cards can be made very fast and they look like they take hours to make. The dimension is amazing along with the quality of the product. I'm so excited that I discovered Kanban Crafts!

Topiary Tutorial and a Design Team Call!

I'm so happy to share this fun Topiary tutorial with you. I had tons of fun creating this and it really isn't as hard as it may seem. It makes a great decoration! Mine is in my dining room as we speak and it looks beautiful sitting on my table. I used Bo Bunny's Vickie B. Collection to make this fun project.

Of course my first love is my handsome husband Jeff, but my love for Bo Bunny is also never ending!! One of my favorite new winter releases is the Gabrielle Collection. The colors in this collection are so versatile and no matter what your style of scrapping is, it can be adapted to what ever you want it to be. Here are a couple of projects I want to share with you.

My Little Shoebox Farewell Blog Hop!

Today is a day that I have mixed feelings about. Helen Chu and My Little Shoebox are such a great company to work for! I'd like to thank them for the opportunity to work with fabulous products, designers, Coordinators (Erin Yamabe and Pattie Beltran) and Miss Helen who I think is wonderful! I made great friends and loved working beside such great people! Today we are having our farewell blog hop for the 2010 Design Team. Bo Bunny Puzzle Albums

I really love the Puzzle Albums that Bo Bunny released this winter...they are just just so darned cute, not to mention versatile. If you check the BoBunny blog you can see how some of the other designers used them.
Super cute ideas! I used mine as a regular mini album with photos full of our littlest grand daughter, Adalyn. She is at a really cute age and I really wanted to make a mini of just her. The Puzzle album was perfect.

Be sure to check out the blog to see what the other designers did with their puzzle albums! They are all fabulous and unique!

I also have a few KanBan cards to share with you today! I simple can't tell you how much I'm enjoying this product line! I had dreams about it last night. I can't wait to get to my scrap room this weekend to play!

I added a little flower soft to the flower on her bow. Below I added flower soft to the cuffs of her over jacket.

As I told you before the quality of KanBan is AMAZING!!! Thick cardstock and so lovely to work with!
